College Preview Night
College Preview Night at Fifth Third Field
Tuesday, September 29, 2009; 5:30 - 8:00 PM
Fifth Third Bank will present a free College Preview Night hosted at Fifth Third Field, home of the world famous Mud Hens, on September 29
for high school juniors and seniors and their parents.
On site that evening from 5:30 – 8 p.m. will be 13 colleges and universities set up to offer materials and answer questions about admissions,
financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
Colleges that will be represented:
- University of Toledo
- Bowling Green State University
- Lourdes College
- Owens Community College
- University of Findlay
- Tiffin University
- Heidelberg University
- Monroe Community College
- Defiance College
- Terra Community College
- Hillsdale College
- Northwest State Community College
- Bluffton University
In addition, local experts will offer tips on transitioning to college and how to stretch dollars earmarked for college. Guest speakers to
include:
- Dan Cummins – WTOL Sports Director - ”Transition from Home to Dorm”
- Greg Guzman - Bowling Green State University - Director of Financial Aid: "Make the Most of Your College Money"
- Bill Pierce - University of Toledo - Director of Admissions: "Importance of College Education"
A highlight of the evening will be scholarship opportunities. Winners must be present. Anyone 18 years of age (including parents) can
enter the drawings.
