The first-place Mud Hens hit the road for ten days before returning to Fifth Third Field on Monday, May 19 for a ten-game homestand. When the Hens return they'll play two against the Columbus Clippers, four against the Louisville Bats and four against the Buffalo Bisons (Cleveland Indians' Triple-A Affiliate). ST. PETERSBURG, FL (May 6) - Minor League Baseball got off to a good start in a bid to break its all-time attendance record for the fifth consecutive season. The average crowd per playing date, through April, is up slightly from the 2007 total when the Minor Leagues drew 42,812,812 fans.
